WATA Vision

Our vision is designed to target youth between the ages of 7 to 14 and teenagers between the ages of 15-18 regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious beliefs. Studies have shown that students performing at a grade level or more behind, are more likely to be disruptive in the classroom, truant from school, and at risk of dropping out of high school. Our project will enable at risk youth to improve their learning skills through utilization of counseling, tutoring, social etiquette and recreational activities. These tools will develop the skills necessary to overcome obstacles in the home environment and obtain classroom subject proficiency. We will also be able to foster a stable atmosphere where they can be restored from the negative affects domestic abuse, bullying and those that have been lead with false hopes and promises. This will allow us the opportunity to gather and implement resources to assist.
